Lukas Roth

German artist Lukas Roth takes hundreds of digital pictures of one location or subject then seamlessly incorporates various elements from the images into one constructed image that more closely resembles what was seen by the naked eye. Roth's works are idealized spatial concepts that rely on radically manipulating perspectives, axes, sizes and proportions. It is in the process of viewing these works that one may begin to uncover all of the artist's computer-graphical manipulations, so that the viewing experience becomes a prolonged game of obsessive searching.
