Alyson Shotz (b. 1964) is an American sculptor whose installations use mirrors, beads, wire, and reflective materials to create shimmering, geometric environments in which light and space become the primary mediums. Her work explores the perceptual experience of space and the physics of light, often creating site-specific installations that transform architectural settings into immersive optical phenomena. She received her MFA from the University of Washington and has exhibited at institutions including PS1/MoMA and the Aldrich Museum.
