Lee Stoetzel

Lee Stoetzel (b. 1968, Florida) is a sculptor and curator based in New York who received his MFA from Southern Methodist University and has served as co-curator and director of the West Collection for over 17 years. His wooden sculptures recreate nostalgic American objects — Volkswagen buses, vintage computers, fast food packaging — with meticulous hand-crafted detail, rendering icons of consumer and pop culture in an unexpected material. His work has been exhibited at Mixed Greens and Tricia Collins Contemporary Art.
