Amy Stein

Amy Stein is an American photographer known for her series Domesticated, which stages fictional encounters between wild animals and suburban human environments, exploring the encroachment of development on wildlife habitat and the anxious boundaries between civilization and nature. Her photographs are meticulously constructed yet intimate in feeling, creating an uncanny vision of human-animal coexistence. She received her MFA from the International Center of Photography and has exhibited nationally.
