Joseph Smolinski

Joseph Smolinski (b. St. Paul, MN) is a New Haven–based multidisciplinary artist and professor at the University of New Haven who received his BFA from the University of Wisconsin and his MFA from the University of Connecticut. His practice uses digital media, drawing, sculpture, and watercolor to investigate the intersection of technology and the natural environment- addressing energy industries, agricultural infrastructure, and ecological systems. He is a Connecticut Commission of the Arts 2012 Artist Fellow.
